Create Hip Romance with an Above the City Lights Prom

Create a hip and romantic city themed prom with our Above the City Lights Kit. This theme brings back images of romantic movies or fun summer nights gazing at the stars!

Make a back drop for your prom by covering your walls with star patterned flat paper or star gossamer with twinkle lights behind it. It creates the illusion of a starry sky behind the city skyline. Cover the floor with dark brown flat paper to create the base for the theme kit.

Next, set up the City Lights 3-D Buildings. The buildings create the illusion of being on a roof amidst the city skyline. Two buildings are 12’ high, one is 11 ½’ and the fourth is 8’ tall. The buildings are made of corrugated cardboard and a light in the base of each building lights up the translucent windows.

Add the City Lights Ledges to create the rooftop look. The 2’ high and 6’ wide cardboard ledges are covered with brick and granite corrugated and edged in pretty twinkle lights. The City Lights Skylight adds a realistic touch. Add it to the center of your rooftop. The skylight has gossamer windows and twinkle lights light them up. Finish it off with the City Lights Smoke Stacks. The 2 ½’ high and 1 ½ wide corrugated cardboard smoke stacks can be brought to life by placing a smoke machine in one.
