Set Sail to Fun with a Magical Isle Theme Prom

A tropical theme prom is a fantastic way to bring some warmth and spring style to your event. Stumps Prom has several great theme kits to transport your prom to a sunny tropical island. The Magical Isle Kit sets the scene with a water fall and a fabulous sunset.

The Magical Isle Prom Decorating Kit includes two Magical Isle Palm Trees, two wire palm trees, a waterfall, an island hut, and a Magical Isle banner.

Create a backdrop for your prom using orange and red gossamer layered to create a sunset backdrop. Use backlights to highlight the look. Set a mountain silhouette in front of the gossamer to simulate the illusion of a distant horizon. Cover the floors with brown or sand colored flat paper to make the beach..

For a gorgeous focal point, set up the Magical Isle Waterfall, constructed of cardboard and gossamer and standing 10 feet tall by 12 feet wide. Add some twinkle lights to the waterfall for a romantic shimmer.

In front of the waterfall, add the Magical Isle Hut. It stands 9 feet tall and 4 ½ feet wide and students will love taking commemorative photos next to it.

Fill out the look using Magical Isle Palm Trees and Tropical Wire Palm Tree. The Magical Island Palm Trees are made from palm tree bark and felt leaves and stand on wooden bases. They measure 10 feet tall and 4 feet wide. The Tropical Wire Palm Trees are made from lighted plastic and metal. They stand 7 feet tall.

Add the Magical Isle Banner with your own message to accent the entrance or other significant spot at your event. The banner is supported with Magical Isle Torches and measures 45” x 18”. The torches are constructed from raffia and corrugate on wooden bases.

Add plenty of real or faux foliage to really fill out the look and create a stunning island for your prom.

Create a spot for students to take pictures using Surf Board Stand-Ups. The surf boards come in sets of three (4’, 5’, 6’) and come in fun tropical prints.

Be sure to accent the theme kit decorations with other prom decorations such as gossamer, centerpieces and banners!

Create a Grand Affair with a Midnight Cruise Theme Prom

A nautical theme is a classic for prom, and our Midnight Cruise themed prom is a romantic twist, setting your event on the deck of a giant cruise ship.

The Midnight Cruise Prom Kit has tons of decorations for creating the theme include a Midnight Cruise Ship standee, a Midnight Island Standee, a Midnight Cruise Scene, a mountain backdrop, two ship railings and a shaded elegance umbrella.

Create a base for your decorating kit by setting up the ship’s deck using weathered wood flat paper and add metallic blue background material for water. Add the Sea at Sunset Background Illustration to create a gorgeous backdrop. Add fish netting and twinkle lights for a romantic accent to the whole scene.

Begin using your Midnight Cruise Kit by setting up the Midnight Cruise Ship itself. The ship standee is 18’ high and 14’6” wide. It’s accented with twinkle lights and can be personalized with your prom slogan or school name on the ship’s body.
